October is a truly significant month for me for several reasons.
1) the 31st is my birthday – I’m turning 41derful this year!
2) It’s Breast Cancer Awareness month and if you don’t know, I am a huge supporter of the American Cancer Society and have been for over a decade since I lost my mom to breast cancer 11 years ago
3) My mom’s birthday is October 11th and her death anniversary is also this month – crazy right?
Every year for 11 or 12 years now, I’ve been raising money for the American Cancer Society by participating in the Making Strides for Breast Cancer Walk in San Francisco. This year, Alexa and I will be participating in the San Jose walk on Saturday, October 30th. Instead of asking for donations, I am offering a generous 41% off of all our Professional Home Staging Resources and products this month (use coupon code: PINK at checkout) and hosting a month long virtual facial event featuring products from a new and exciting company called Beauty Society. 10% of all my proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
So…you are all invited to join me this month. If you are local and available during the day, I will be holding facial events on Fridays at noon. There will also be Friday evening dates available as well as weekends. Plan on a great time and receiving amazing complimentary facial treatments. I loved the products so much, I decided to be a Beauty Society representative, aka a “diva”. If you’d like to host an event for you and your friends and family, email or call me to make arrangements. As a hostess, you will receive a free hostess gift and earn free products. In October, you will be gifted Youth Accelerator – the only serum with apple stem cell technology that helps halt and reverse aging - ummm…sign me up! =)
Beauty Society specializes in products for sensitive skin and all the products are cruelty free, fragrance free, environmentally friendly, dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested. Testing is never done on animals ~ just humans. The best part is, it is paraben free. If you don’t know, parabens are chemical preservatives that have been identified as estrogenic and disruptive of normal hormone function. (Estrogenic chemicals mimic the function of the naturally occurring hormone estrogen, and exposure to external estrogens has been shown to increase the risk of breast cancer.) I am hoping to bring awareness to how bad paraben is for everyone. Click here for more information so you can check your products for this ingredient. I just cleaned out a bunch of lotions and sunscreens that have it (Curel, Kiehls, Coppertone, Water Babies, etc.) I am completely obsessed with how soft and smooth my skin has become since using Beauty Society’s products. I promise you’re going to L-O-V-E the results!!!
Click here to learn about the company and why the products are utterly spectacular! My personal fave is Crystal Ball (microdermabrasian) and Making Shade (sunscreen). My daughter, Alexa, loves it too and only wants to use this sunscreen. The grapefruit oil makes it smell fresh and yummy. Their Success fragrance is also very popular. I hear it’s very attractive to men…
Thank you for your support and joining us for a month of treats for you, your business, and don’t forget about your friends and family…the holidays are right around the corner!
